A month focused on the loadplan step and interactive editing.
Loadplan
- A new checkbox in the items table on step 4 to keep track of what has been loaded.
- Dragging a row in workspace now moves the whole group of holds, not just the clicked row.
Rules
- Minimize mixing now has rest-pallet behaviour.
- Overhang tolerance is now relative to the hold size, so it scales sensibly.
3D viewer
- A first look at exploded view — see cargo separated out for inspection. (More polish arrives in May.)
- Smaller mouse moves the closer you are to an object, for finer placement.
- Snap-grid, pallet colour and pallet opacity fixes.
Workspace
- A new stack iterator setting for how the solver iterates through stack options.
- Pretty snackbars everywhere, with better visibility.
- Items table more compact in compact mode.
Safety
- Deleting all cargo now requires more deliberate confirmation.
Maps
- Switched the map provider under the hood from Mapbox and Carto to MapLibre and OpenFreeMap — maps are now served from open-source tiles.
For API integrations
- A new webhook logs view so you can inspect what Cargo-Planner is calling your side with.
Fixes worth mentioning
- Excel import respects the dimensions on your template, with backwards compatibility.
- More frontend validation for cargo before anything hits the server.
